Gadsden State Offers ACT Preparation Courses

Gadsden, Alabama – Gadsden State Community College’s continuing education program offers ACT preparation courses covering four main subjects: English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science. Classes will meet at the Cardinal Tutoring Center located in the Inzer Student Engagement Center on the Wallace Drive campus. Evening sessions will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. from December 6 to 9 with a different core subject taught each evening. The registration cost is $ 99 for the four hours of instruction or $ 30 per evening class. Once a student registers, a confirmation email will be sent containing the instructions and necessary materials for the course. Gadsden State to host Cardinal Days in December

Gadsden, Ala. – Gadsden State Community College is hosting Cardinal Days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 14 and 15. Evening counseling will be available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on December 15. Current and prospective students will receive face-to-face support through the counseling and registration process. Cardinal Days will be held in the One Stop Center Multipurpose Room on the East Broad Campus, in the Learning Resource Center Auditorium on the Ayers Campus, and in the Gadsden State Cherokee Library. Enrollment for the spring semester 2022 underway in Gadsden State

Gadsden, Alabama.– Registration at Gadsden State Community College for the spring semester is ongoing until January 13, 2022. Classes begin January 7 for the full spring semester and the Mini 1 semester. Visit gadsdensate.edu and click on “OneACCS At the top of the page to begin the registration process. Gadsden State Cherokee to offer Hybrid Advantage

Center, Alabama – Gadsden State Cherokee is home to three new programs on the Center campus. The College now offers child development, health information technology management, and massage therapy, all in a hybrid format. The programs start this spring. Massage therapy clinics offered in Gadsden State

Gadsden, Alabama.– The Gadsden State Community College Massage Therapy Program offers student clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays for faculty, staff, students, and the community at Prater Hall, Room 200 on the Valley Street Campus. Massage therapy appointments are 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The cost is $ 25 per hour. Call 256-549-8326 ahead of time to make an appointment or leave a message with contact details so appointments can be confirmed. Gift certificates for hourly massages are also available. The massage therapy program is approved by the Alabama State Massage Therapy Board and accredited by the Massage Therapist Accreditation Commission.

Gadsden State A Cappella Choir and Singers Christmas Tour Dates

Gadsden, Alabama— The Gadsden State Community College A Cappella Choir and Singers will sing at many community and church events during their annual Christmas tour. The highlight of the tour is the community Christmas concert at 6 p.m. on December 9 at the First Methodist of Gadsden. It is free and open to the public. They are under the direction of JT Harrell. Other performance dates are December 9 at the Gadsden Rotary Club and December 19 at 6:00 p.m. at the White Springs Baptist Church.
