Tyler the Creator is easily one of today’s most entertaining musical personalities, and his quick-witted and energetic demeanor makes him an engrossing subject. Keeping this same energy, the latest album from the co-founder of Odd Future, CALL ME IF YOU LOSE YOURSELF, debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart and apparently trolled DJ Khaled via social media.
Back to 2019 when DJ Khaled shot Tyler, The Creator ahead of the California star’s Grammy Award IGOR album with the Florida producer calling Tyler’s music “mysterious” in an effort to minimize its impact on culture.
âI make albums so people can play it and you actually hear it,â Khaled said in a now deleted post. âYou know, behind the wheel of your car, you hear another car playing it. You know, go to the hairdresser, you hear them playing. You know, turn on the radio and you hear them play it. This is called good music. These are called albums that you actually hear songs from. Not some mysterious shit you never hear.
Tyler tweeted on Independence Day (July 4th) two simple worlds that were to target Khaled. See the tweet below.
