Last year, Jess revealed she had no intentions of marrying her fiancé during a chat on Jana Hocking’s Kinda Sorta Dating podcast.
The 36-year-old – who shares Fred, six, and Matilda, four, with Norm – said she was against the idea of spending thousands of dollars on a wedding when she could be investing in something for their children.

“I find traditional a little outdated, and that’s exactly what your jam is for. For us, we got engaged and I don’t plan on getting married,” she said.
‘The only way to get married is if it was a BYOB (bring your own booze), because I’ve been to too many weddings where I drank shit wine and felt bad about about it – because it’s always costing the bride and groom thousands of dollars.
She continued, “I don’t need [get married]. I would do it for the party, but I don’t need it. With this saving, you can invest money in something for your children.
Although she may be against the idea of marriage at the moment, she says Norm is “desperate” to get married.

Jess added that he always asks her if she “would just like to experience it”, to which she replies: “I love you, I have no chance of breaking up with you – and if I have fact, we’ve been together over six months, so we’re splitting our super 50/50 as is.
She concluded that while she isn’t planning on walking down the aisle anytime soon, she’s happy for anyone who decides to do so.
“If that’s what you like, go for it,” she added, before advising, “If you’re waiting for a proposal, it doesn’t actually define anything emotionally with you.”
Speaking of her very first meeting with Norm, the blushing radio host recalled: ‘We’ve been together for almost ten years, since one illusory night when I was kicked out of a nightclub and a pizzeria.
“His bald head shone in the moonlight. I said, “Can I have some of your pizza?” he said, “Can I have your number?”
I said “I’ll do whatever you want mate, just give us a piece.” It was love ever since.”
