New Indego bike share stations are coming to West Philly

Indego bike share stations in West Philly.

The city’s bike-sharing program, Indego, continues to expand in West Philadelphia. The organization recently announced plans to bring more bike-share stations to the Spruce Hill area. Currently, these plans include the installation of new stations at the following locations:

• 40th and walnut

• 41st and Chestnut

• 41st and forest

Additionally, the Indego system has continued to expand further west in recent months. Since the beginning of the year, new bicycle docking stations have been installed at 53rd and Baltimore, 50th and Haverford, ParkWest Town Center (1575 N 52nd St) and other locations. Plans for this year also included the installation of Indego stations in the Kingsessing area. To see a map of all Philadelphia bike share stations, go here.

Residents are invited to suggest a station by filling out a form on this page.

Indego has also added e-bikes to its fleet. Last year it added around 200 e-bikes in the city and this year another 400 e-bikes are expected to be added.
