Adele’s sudden postponement from her Las Vegas residency led to additional dates with Keith Urban at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The country singer has had a rotating residency at the site for several years and had already scheduled shows for Memorial Day weekend 2022. Adele’s residency was due to begin in January, but a day before opening night, she announced that it would be postponed – leaving fans confused and angry.
Shortly after, Urban’s phone rang.
“We got a very panicked call one night asking if we could fill in a bunch of shows and it worked out perfectly,” Urban told Jeremy Parsons about People (the TV show!).
Urban’s new dates are March 25 through April 2. There are five shows in total, making eight in total for 2022.
“I love this piece,” he says. “The stage is literally an arena, it’s crazy.”

Musically, Urban’s current radio single is “Wild Hearts”, a song for which he released a music video this week. It’s unclear which album, if any, the Top 20 hit will be on. His last studio album was the Speed of now part 1released in 2020. Talk to Taste of country nights last fall, Urban admitted to releasing the new song without thinking of a larger project. He also shared how the lyrics reflect memories of his late father.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman lived on their 5,086-square-foot, 4-bedroom farmhouse in Franklin, Tennessee, a rural community 30 minutes from Nashville. The house is beautifully appointed.
