Former Comcast Director Joins Townsquare

Townsquare Media has appointed Mary Fork Market President for Southwest Michigan, which includes Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. She replaces Kate Morton who left over a month ago and will report to Townsquare’s senior vice president Todd Lawley.

Mary has spent nearly the last decade leading teams for Comcast / Effectv in Southeast Michigan.

Lawley said: “From the first time I spoke to Mary, it was clear that the ability to coach, lead and execute a multiplatform strategy was in her DNA. She has unique skills that will enable her to bring to market our set of world-class digital and local broadcasting solutions with the mission of making Townsquare Kalamazoo / Battle Creek the # 1 local media company in the South West of the Michigan.

“I am more than excited to return home to southwest Michigan and join the Townsquare Media family. What drove me to join Townsquare was not just the full-service digital marketing capabilities and incredible local media brands, but also the way Townsquare markets and its Digital First strategy. I was completely impressed when I saw how Townsquare’s campaigns have full transparency, true optimization and cutting edge attribution. With the unparalleled power of the products and the integrity of Townsquare’s campaign management, I knew I had to join this winning team, ”said Ms. Fork.

Townsquare COO – Local Media, Erik Hellum added, “I was very impressed with Mary’s experience, cross-platform knowledge, passion and positivity. She’s excited to make Kalamazoo and Southwest Michigan her home and to work with our talented Townsquare team to make great things happen.
