Denizkurdu joins Celsius from Citigroup, where she was chief operating officer and head of risk management governance, reporting to the chief risk officer and a longtime member of the Global Risk Management Executive Council. Additionally, van Etten has a background in operations and has held various advisory roles, focusing on efficiency programs at major global financial institutions. Van Etten Operated at the highest management levels, with a wealth of experience in developing growth strategies and designing operations to support growth. He led the execution of various large-scale strategic projects that helped position the companies for future success. He is a recognized expert in investment innovation, business restructuring and achieving sustainable business growth across various customer channels.
van Etten was born in Italy, raised in the Netherlands and holds a master’s degree in econometrics and operations research from Tilburg University.
