Governor Kate Brown announced today that the Portland Timbers and Thorns will be offering a travel prize to Oregon in the next three home games to encourage Oregonians to get the shot. Travel prizes, offered by Travel Oregon, are valued up to $ 2,000 and include accommodations, accommodations, meals and activities for two at iconic Oregon travel destinations.
Examples of travel prices include 3-night ski trips to Mt. Hood or Mt. Bachelor, Oregon Coast Kayaking, Visit to Ashland for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and Willamette Valley Wine Tour. All present will be eligible to win. Terms and conditions may apply.
“Vaccines are the best tools we have to protect you and your families from COVID-19,” Governor Brown said. “And, vaccines are the key to getting a sense of normal life back, including cheering on our Timbers and Thorns and visiting some of the amazing destinations in our beautiful state.

Providence Park is operating at 80% capacity in upcoming home games with a vaccine check in place for fans 16 and over. Additional prizes, including gift cards, will be given out at upcoming immunization events across Oregon.
And, all vaccinated Oregonians will be eligible for a chance to win the Take your picture, Oregon $ 1 million prize, $ 10,000 prize in each county, and five $ 100,000 scholarships from the College of Oregon Savings Plan.
