After building the most dangerous league in the league and continuing to fortify an already alluring offense, the Denver Broncos look like one of the most improved teams in the NFL.

Now, former NFL Network NFL scouts Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks are joining the Broncos hype.

During a segment in which Jeremiah and Brooks picked their biggest “offseason winners,” Jeremiah opened with the Mile High City team.

“You know, I don’t think anyone is talking about this team,” Jeremiah said. “A little off the radar. Last year, the Denver Broncos were 5-11. This is not a 5-11 list. I know the quarterback thing, and they have to play Drew Lock. They have insurance now with Teddy Bridgewater. But when I watch this team, I watch the defensive staff with the coordination of Vic Fangio, and I watch Courtland Sutton come back on offense, I watch the writing of Javonte Williams to connect to the running back. The offensive line with Mike Munchak I think is a really solid group, they have improved a lot in the last couple of years, Garett Bolles just got paid. They are better there. I mean, they have two tight ends that run 4.4. “

While offense has the potential to be a very exciting unit, it’s no secret that most of the Broncos’ wealth lies on the defensive side of the ball.

” They brought [Kyle] Fuller, the corner who is a good player, ”said Jeremiah. “Simmons is one of the best securities in all of football. Kareem Jackson is a great safety tackle, he’s a very good force. It’s a good football team. Bradley Chubb, and you hope Von Miller is back to what he was. That’s a lot of guys up there.

“A lot of guys,” Brooks was quick to point out, before noting the same conversation that drove Broncos Country crazy this offseason. “Literally, he’s the good quarterback who takes care of football. If they take care of football, they will win games. I think their division is difficult. Kansas City, Chargers, Raiders, I mean it’s tough sledding, but they’re definitely good enough to make noise. I also love that they’ve rebuilt their entire high school – more depth and talent. “

It’s great that the national media is starting to notice how talented the Broncos’ roster is, but as Jeremiah and Brooks noted, it doesn’t matter if the quarterback continues to be a deadweight.
